I was wondering 'if'....technically.....Daniel Day Lewis's wife, Rebecca Miller, would be considered to be the stepdaughter of Marilyn Monroe!   While I was watching the previews of Miller's documentary Film about Martin Scorsese, it occurred to me that Ingrid Bergman was Scorcese's  ex-mother-in-law!   Oh, here's a copy of "Six Degrees of Separation", under my bed......I'm in the mood to watch it, perhaps....After Java, I should ask Alice Rohrwacher what her first 'take' on "Call Me By Your Name" was.... or Mo Yan, what his take on Magical Realism is, while I finish off this cut of red sorghum on a slice of 12-grain toast with the imagined materialized  Gabriel Garcia Marques and Jorge Luis Borges, seated at opposite ends of  a long table of Cinema-Diners, gorging on Magical Realism & Die Neue Sachlichkeit, through the long lens Camera of negotiable subjectivity.. into Florian Henkel Von Donnersmarck's "The Lives of Others" character, Georg Dreyman's  Novel, "Sonate vom Guten Menschen".......   Oh, WTF!.....I just realized that I'm older than Salman Rushdie, have both eyes and a healthy-enough liver......so...'just slow down and smell the roses', cause "The Winter of Our Discontent" usually follows "The Fall"..... unless I shuffle those old DVD's in the bank of 400-Disk DVD Mega Changer/Players....

I HAD KNOWN DAVID'S FATHER, RICHARD RAMUS, FROM HIS ASSOCIATION WITH AN AUCTION COMPANY, ACROSS PEACHTREE ROAD, FROM A STREET OF ANTIQUES DEALERS SHOPS AND ART/FURNITURE RESTORATIONERS......  DAVID HAD BEEN 'COURTING' ONE OF MY CLIENT'S DAUGHTERS, WITH THE EXPECTATION OF GETTING INTO HER PARENTS DEEP POCKETS........HE OPENED AN ART GALLERY IN THE BUCKHEAD PLAZA OFFICE TOWER, NEAR THE HOMES OF HIS PARENTS RICH FRIENDS AND THEIR RICH FRIENDS AND ACQUAINTENANCES; BUT, AFTER SCAMMING A FEW FOR SOME BIG BUCKS, HE WAS SENT TO PRISON FOR 'I NTERSTATE TRANSPORTATION OF STOLEN ART'. ...EVEN WHILE IN PRISON, DAVID COURTED A RICH, OLDER WOMAN AND CONNED HER OUT OF A WAD OF CASH.....AFTER HAVING ALREADY SWINDLED HIS CHILDHOOD FRIEND, REED GALIN,  AND DEFRAUDING HIS UNSUSPECTING CLIENTS OUT OF OVER A HALF MILLION BUCKS.......YET, HE GETS THE 'GET OUT OF JAIL....PRACTICALLY FREE....CARD.....AND BECOMES A SUCCESSFULL WRITER WITH 'A THIEF OF LIGHT' AND 'GRAVITY...

PAY ATTENTION....THERE'S BUT A SECOND..OR TWO...TO 'CATCH' THE DETAILS BEFORE THEIR FLIGHT FROM MEMORY .....
