SYNTHETIC BLUE TOURMALINE....'COMPLETE WITH AUTHENICATION PAPER'.....YEAH, SURE! "Let the Buyer beware"........



tourmaline is highly dichroic......which this example is not,  although it was represented, for sale, as being 'natural'....and had a 'certificate' to authenticate it.....So, I purchased it.....Within seconds, I realized that the 'indicolite' was, in fact, a synthetic blue sapphire, evidencing no dichroism whatsover.....Caveat Emptor!

    the 'blue tourmaline' being sold, mentioned earlier.....was only 3.66 Ct. however.....
