THE DAN SHOEMAKER FURNITURE THAT NEVER SAW COPENHAGEN.....

Thanks to a friend who is an 'expert' on Mid-Century Furniture,  for discovering the maker of the chairs at the Cabin.....I'd never seen other examples of Dan Shoemaker's designs.....For twenty years, the chairs have been on a screened room, exposed to freezing cold and hot, humid summers......thanks to the durability of rosewood, they are basically structurally sound.....still.....Who'd ever think this was a Mexican designer's work.......I've thought, all these years, that it was a product of Denmark!
