GIVE ME A MINUTE.......LET'S 'SEE'........"OH, YES.....I REMEMBER....MORE OR LESS"

a movie, whose name will not 'surface', still brings its influence on my 'art'.......I've 'looked around' in my mental labyrinths, but the 'title' just won't come to mind.......even with my oblique associative thinking process.......then, looking at my own image, I could only draw a parallel with Anthony Hopkins' Titus Andronicus.....an 'association' was Jessica Lang...having just watched her sing The Name Game from AHS, and reading a message about Ansel Elgort's working on a documentary project about the Aids Quilt...then, to 'Ryan White' and a neural stream connection to Brad Falchuk via Gwyneth ....Our creative brains work in so many ways to form the 'new' from all the old stuff that's stored away in our endless mental caverns of not quite random juxtapositions .........There!....I knew it would 'surface'.....THE FALL!...Yea!...my mind is still operational! It took Jessica and Anthony to find The Fall, without tripping over Joan Crawford, tumbling from her wheelchair, after 'Baby Jane' pushes her down the stairs...Yes.....a Metaphor....not an Incident....there...there it 'is'........I hope I can find The Spring next year, when it comes!

    friendship and imagination, a broken arm and a shattered Life heal through creative unison and reparative imaginativeness.......and, all of these nouns and their modifiers draw associative images and constructs from the deep or shallow wells of Memory.....

I HAD KNOWN DAVID'S FATHER, RICHARD RAMUS, FROM HIS ASSOCIATION WITH AN AUCTION COMPANY, ACROSS PEACHTREE ROAD, FROM A STREET OF ANTIQUES DEALERS SHOPS AND ART/FURNITURE RESTORATIONERS......  DAVID HAD BEEN 'COURTING' ONE OF MY CLIENT'S DAUGHTERS, WITH THE EXPECTATION OF GETTING INTO HER PARENTS DEEP POCKETS........HE OPENED AN ART GALLERY IN THE BUCKHEAD PLAZA OFFICE TOWER, NEAR THE HOMES OF HIS PARENTS RICH FRIENDS AND THEIR RICH FRIENDS AND ACQUAINTENANCES; BUT, AFTER SCAMMING A FEW FOR SOME BIG BUCKS, HE WAS SENT TO PRISON FOR 'I NTERSTATE TRANSPORTATION OF STOLEN ART'. ...EVEN WHILE IN PRISON, DAVID COURTED A RICH, OLDER WOMAN AND CONNED HER OUT OF A WAD OF CASH.....AFTER HAVING ALREADY SWINDLED HIS CHILDHOOD FRIEND, REED GALIN,  AND DEFRAUDING HIS UNSUSPECTING CLIENTS OUT OF OVER A HALF MILLION BUCKS.......YET, HE GETS THE 'GET OUT OF JAIL....PRACTICALLY FREE....CARD.....AND BECOMES A SUCCESSFULL WRITER WITH 'A THIEF OF LIGHT' AND 'GRAVITY...

PAY ATTENTION....THERE'S BUT A SECOND..OR TWO...TO 'CATCH' THE DETAILS BEFORE THEIR FLIGHT FROM MEMORY .....

on the screen for a couple of seconds, before Samantha Bee's FULL FRONTAL show, each week.....a little message from Chuck Lorre.....applicable at any time, to a number of situational considerations......{a scene from the film, DARLING, came to mind.....wherein Julie Christie loses her 'cool'....the 'escalator scene'}....[although I've not seen the film in several decades].......an example of how the aging brain's storage and retrieval mechanisms operate.......whereas, a scene from a film that I watched, only yesterday, has found no lodging place within my cerebral foldings....already congested with words and images, whole constructs of thought processing, embedded associational linkages and rationalizing tinker-toys.....constantly reformatted, like plastic molecules, filling the weak chemical bonds of ideational memory....Now, back to listening to the 'worth a penny' buck being passed around during this morning's Senate Hearings.......each snoll...
