IT'S ALL IN THE DETAILS

TOLD ME THAT SHE STILL SLEEPS WITH HER HEAD ON THE SAME PILLOW THAT SHE USED ....50 YEARS AGO!    .....DUH!    I BOUGHT HER A PAIR OF  'NEW' PILLOWS' AT MARSHALL'S; NEVERTHELESS, SHE PERSISTS IN SLEEPING ON HER 'OLD' PILLOWS........

What would have been, years before....a Sousa-esque trio; now, supplanted by a Beatnik trio: bongo/conga, bass and saxophone...... with turtleneck, beret and black, lace-up suede shoes.....and a guitar, for a quartet........There's always a 'formula' for Stylistic Correctness, isn't there? A little girl at Kroger asked me why I was wearing a turtleneck sweater, a pair of black lace-up suede shoes, dark sunglasses and a felt beret......I responded...that I was a Beatnik, then asked her why she was wearing a $10 pink fuzzy mohairish sweater with pink unicorns on it and a pair of pink tennis shoes with flying horses ....
